Underwood Pinot Noir 2019

(Feb 19, 2021) Whatever.  It's fine, and if you like Pinots this one is decent.  It's a $15 bottle or so, and I drank most of it last night and honestly can't remember what I thought.  Today it's fine.   It's a Pinot, and it's fine.  Not too jammy but a little bit; kind of watery; it's complicated if you like simple things, and simple if you like complicated things.  That's not really a dis, and maybe I just kind of don't like Pinots.

The label is appropriately understated and it won't impress your friends, but it won't piss them off.  I mean, maybe it will impress your friends, but if you're like TWS (that's me!) then you drink it right from the bottle and you're not going to impress anyone that way, unless you're 20 and living in your parent's basement.

TWS is 52 and living in his own house, thank you very much.  It's owned by my Mom, sure, when she moved to be close to her grandkids, but I pay the bills.  Most of them.  And I own three cars now, so that's good - three Volvos from the 1990s, but still.

Anyway.  This wine is kind of like being 52 and living in a house that your Mom owns so she can help take care of her grandkids and you can help take care of her.  But, like - it's wine.  It's an Oregon Pinot and maybe that still has some import with people.

I give it a I-like-two-of-my-kids out of I-have-four-kids.
